Maskell's Shotgun Academy
Maskell's Shotgun Academy

With Michael Maskell’s uncle, Aubrey Roberts, establishing three shooting clubs in Barbados, it was clear that Michael would eventually embrace the sport. At the age of 14, he began his shooting journey at the Clay Target Club in Barbados, marking the beginning of an extraordinary career.

After competing in five Olympic Games and several prestigious international skeet competitions, Michael felt inspired to share the skills he had developed over the years. This led to the founding of Maskell’s Shooting Academy, which serves the Greater Houston Area.

Currently, Michael is a Master Class shooter and a Level 3 NSCA Instructor affiliated with

American Shooting Centers, Greater Houston Sports Club, and 1-In-100 Gun Club. Originally hailing from Barbados, he spent some time in Indiana before making Texas his home. Although it contrasts with his experiences competing in over 20 countries, he has found a sense of belonging in Houston and is deeply passionate about improving both the mental and physical aspects of shooting for his students.
